PROVIDE TECHNICAL CONSULTING SERVICES ON A NOT FOR PROFIT BASIS

Hot dip galvanizing involves cleaning steel, dipping it into molten zinc to form a protective coating, and quenching it to passivate the surface. It’s a simple, effective corrosion protection method.

The galvanized coating forms through a metallurgical reaction between zinc and steel, creating hard intermetallic layers with an outer layer of pure zinc.

Zinc is vital for sustainability—it protects steel from corrosion, is natural and recyclable, and supports human health, plant growth, and environmental balance.

What is Galvanizing ?

Hot-dip galvanizing involves the immersion of iron or steel workpieces into a bath of molten zinc heated to a temperature of approximately 450C. The zinc alloys with the surface of the base metal to form a protective coating.

Hot-dip galvanizing protects steel from corrosion in a cost-effective and environmentally-friendly manner and considerable increases its lifetime.
